Space Optical Data Transfer Unit - SOT series
Space Optical Data Transfer Unit provide a means to transfer data between points thru. Near-infrared rays without laying cable.
There are different communication options available;

- Ethernet
- CC-Link
Since light is used as a transmission medium, there is no chance that data transmission is disturbed by electromagnetic field.

The parallel type space optical transfer unit allows a pair of devices to transmit and receive data alternately in the half duplex, bi-directional mode.
Space Optical Transfer unit is widely used in transmitting control signals for Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGV) and other applications.

Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV)
Information on Interlock signal of the process and indicating destination etc. are communicated between each station and AGVs.

Presence of material, confirmation signal, control signal can be communicated.
