Sunco Spring Unit

CONSTON® is a trade name of constant force spring from Sunco Spring Co., Ltd., Japan, who is constant force spring specialist.
It has been used in various application, such as, stationary, home appliances, automotive interior, medical equipment, machineries. 

Thanks to constant spring force feature over the stroke, Conston® can offset weight of object, thus, moving even a heavy object with minimum effort.  Further, if weight of object is properly balanced with CONSTON®, the object can be freely stopped at any position. Namely, Conston® can be used as counterbalancing without using additional weight.

C type Conston® unit

C type Conston® unit is the standard constant force spring, which directly carry the applied load.

Various spring force grades, 0.49N (0.05kgf) - 147N (15.0kgf), are available in C type Conston® unit product families. 

 

N type Conston® unit

N type Conston® unit is the constant spring unit with wire. Load is carried thru. the wire. 

Various spring force grades, 1.96N (0.2kgf) - 294N (30.0kgf), are available in N type Conston® unit product families.

 

 

MSW type Mainspring Unit 

MSW type Mainspring unit is not constant spring unit but  output adjustable unit with wire.

Various spring force grades, 14.9N (0.5kgf) - 29.4N (3.0kgf), are available in MSW type Mainspring unit product families.
