Optical Data Transfer Unit

The Space Optical Data Transfer Unit provide a means to transfer data between points through near-infrared rays without laying a cable.

There are different communication options available;

Parallel communication
Ethernet
CC-Link

Since light is used as a transmission medium, there is no chance that data transmission is disturbed by an electromagnetic field.

The parallel type space optical transfer unit allows a pair of devices to transmit and receive data alternately in the half duplex, bi-directional mode.
Space Optical Transfer unit is widely used in transmitting control signals for Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGV) and other applications.
